Why did he come out after only 87 pitches?

Probably because last game he went around 5 solid innings or something then the wheels fell off huge. Maybe they wanted to pull hum before he got rocked to build confidence.

Anyone else notice the reaction Cutch had upon catching the last out? I found it quite humorous.

Man was Hanrahan throwing gas! Hitting 97 and 98 with the fastball.

Big win, against team dogging us for playoff spot. Good to see McDonald and Grilli dealing. Rumor has it, those guys are pretty important to the 2012 season.

A combination of things but mostly because he was pinch hit for.

Top of 7th..Bucs holding 2-0 lead. Pedro on 3rd. Two outs. First off, they sent up a PH to try and get us a 3 run lead...but I also think that Hurdle wanted JMac to take this game as a positive. At that point, he was nearly perfect. Something to help his confidence and build on.

Is the magic from earlier in the season back? Winning a game with no runs batted in seems like what was happening in June when we started our run. I'll take it (and the good pitching).
