Live by the long ball. Die by the long ball. Let's do some living today! Don't take the foot off the gas. This is Game #1 out of the last 45.

HOIST THE COLORS!!!!!!!!

You know, I am an optimist, and have said it before...but Cutch, Pedro, and JMac are just too good of players to not get it going again soon.

F Matt Kemp.
Stoke the fire Pirates! Go nail these guys. Send them home with an L.
He's going to be sitting for a few days.

Can someone please explain what happened that caused Kemp to get tossed?

Well, Jeez, that was intense. Kemp and Mattingly both tossed, and if they'd have been out there any longer and/or been freaking out any harder, security would have had to come out and taser them. Was that just about balls and strikes?

Dodgers were pissy over a few strike calls. There was some yapping from the dugout. Right before the next pitch the ump screamed something over their dugout. Kemp then yells something and gets insta-tossed. Then goes into epic meltdown mode.

Yep and Kemp was in the dugout (having K'd in the 1st on a close pitch) with Ethier up in a 2-2 count.

A rare chance to actually WATCH a game today. Some random first inning thoughts:

-AJ's slider is nasty.
-Marte's got jets.
-Love Cutch's stance. It's like Chipper meets Killebrew (and someone else I'm missing).
-I'll never understand why [some] fans are polarized by GJ. He's been a solid contributor since he was called up those years ago.
-I loved that it happened, but Pedro is lucky to have gotten that 2B. Some lazy D by Loney.

You know, the home plate umpire today is the same guy that idiotically called Kemp safe at second two nights ago when he knocked the ball out of Walker's glove. Guess the honeymoon is over.

I guess Matt Kemp felt bad for the Giants and Melky's suspension?

What else can explain that meltdown?

Re: Padding the Lead

Please do not take the foot off the gas. 3 runs will not be enough. Far fewer goose eggs on the scoreboard.
