Good for Harrison on the HR. That was a nice play in the hole too. Runner was too quick.

The two non starters with HR's and another with the leadoff 3b inches from being out.

Thing is, Barmes woul have made that play.

Gut-check time. Need to put up a zero here in the bottom of the 6th.

All right, I'm calling it. Tie game going into the 9th. Cutch homers off Chapman ... then takes a full 45 seconds to leisurely round the bases.

That would be the definition of poetic justice.

And, not only would that make my day but it would probably rank right up there as one of the great moments in Pirate history.

Cincinnati broadcasters are saying McCutchen's anger last night has "taken him out of his game."

I see how the Reds have been winning so many games lately. Holy smokes. Great play by Cairo.

Yep. They play solid defense and get big hits. Good formula.

Hughes should have tagged him in the teeth there.

Now the Cincinnati broadcasters are giving it to Hughes for the confrontation with Navarro. Sheesh.

9th inning...down one run. The best closer in baseball.

This has a chance to be an epic, season changing win. Or, this could be a heart-breaking loss to drop us even farther from first. This should be both chippy and interesting...

In fairness, I would too if an opponent did that to one of my players. That being said...I loved it.

Once again, why is Jason Grilli not pitching in the eighth in a close game when they aren't in the lead. Clint Hurdle has been great this season with the exception of handling his bullpen when tied or trailing.
