6. Baker – 2B
7. Castillo – C

The Cubs are starting a lefty and, as we all know, The Fort has been raking. I have no problem with that.

It also splits up the righties and lefties against a team that has three LHPs in its bullpen.

Personally, I think we should have McKenry bat leadoff.

I would have absolutely no problem with this.

Maybe not leadoff, but give him a shot in the 5 hole...

Agreed, he has found his hitting stroke and he would see better pitches hitting ahead of Alvarez.

Sigh. I wish Starlin Castro was a Pittsburgh Pirate.

Casey McGehee has 2 walks and 2 runs scored in his first 3 Yankee innings. He had 2 walks since the AS break for us.

Barmes takes a 4 pitch walk?... Surely the world is ending in 2012.

Did he go up without his bat? Sadly, he might have a better On Base Percentage if he did!!!

Well, the Pirates haven't done much with the sticks, but Wood is at 40 pitches through 2 innings. It would be nice to see that Cubs bullpen by the 5th...

Well, that free pass bumped his OBP all the way up to .236. Nice!

Karstens is throwing the ball up too much. He needs to keep it down to be successful.

Then again, Karstens' pitch count is way up there too...
