Do we have to use euphemisms like "Burnett's only allowed two baserunners through six innings and they've both been walks" when typing message board posts? Or can we come out and say it?

I just saw video of Snider's first hit. The fact that he ran out an IF chopper makes me like him 1000x more than current Jose already.

I don't know the rules on that but I will say that AJ has been by far Neal's second best move. I'd say it's really close to getting Cutch to sign for only $51 million. What steals both of those moves turned out to be.

....and to think, at this time last year, most of us would have said his best move was the long term signing of Jose Tabata!

Ump has wrung us up on that outside corner then doesn't give that same pitch to AJ. Disappointing.

He could of called a justified strike 3 on consecutive pitches but didn't. Good for AJ though! Great start.

Complete game 1-hit shutout. Our bullpen thanks you, AJ.

This was their 59th win. Last season, they didn't win No. 59 until Aug. 20. What a difference a year makes, thanks in no small part to A.J. Burnett.

Can anyone explain to me how we failed to score in an inning in which we had three hits and a walk?
