Alvarez's PH two-run single will be forgotten in all of this, which is a shame. That was huge, phenomenal AB working back from the 0-2 count.

Yeah we were all over it in the thread. Fantastic, focused at bat. Great to see.

Anyone else catch the interview of Sutton just now on MLB Network? Nice. He was struggling with his emotions throughout. I kept waiting for him to get a shaving cream pie in the face.

I don't have access to MLB N, but it appeared as if he was having trouble keeping his emotions in check during the interview with Paul Alexander on Root.

Great to see a guy who hadn't homered for two years to win it for the Bucs. Maybe NH knew what he was doing.....good will gesture to the Rays, then getting him for the Buccos. Go Bucs!!

At first I was thinking that he just wasn't good in front of the camera. After a while I started to realize he couldn't quite get a hold of his emotions. A very, very good moment for sure.

Man, I wanted to cry! And one more thing, nobody was more vocal in the Pirate comeback and celebration than AJ. A lot of starting pitchers after stinking up the joint would have just sulked in the dugout.

In all this excitement, I lost sight of the fact that tomorrow marks the midpoint of the season for the Bucs. And they're on pace to finish with 88 wins.

Some more projections:

Cutch .360, 32 HR, 108 RBI
Pedro 32 HR 92 RBI
Jones 24 HR 72 RBI

You had the statement the other day about being "luke warm" on Sutton. As soon as he hit the walk off, I was thinking...I bet BD is "warming up" a bit more towards Drew!

What a great game, what a great stretch...wow. Feels like the early 90's all over again.
