I'm not a Brad Lincoln fan I must say...at least as a starter I'm not.

Lincoln is making the most of THIS opportunity as a starting pitcher. I would think (if he continues THIS solid effort), he'll earn another start.

That can only be a plus for the Pirates. I hope he continues showing he deserves to be in the starting rotation. With Morton out and Karstens out, you would think Lincoln would make the most out of this golden opportunity to be a starter.

I do NOT understand bringing in Cruz to face fat-ass, err, I mean, bloated fat-ass, err, I mean really fat tub of lard, sorry, I mean Fielder.

Watson was warm. Why the hell warm him up if not to face fat-ass ... okay, you know who I mean.

I really, truly hate it when we run into outs. Have we no faith that Harrison could get the runner from 3rd to score by swinging?

That was an awkward deal for sure. Grilli goes into boss mode in the 8th though. Other than that hiccup the other night how great has he been?

Why not let Mercer PH here rather than Barmes?

Radio guys said that lefties are hitting 100 points higher against Watson than righties.

He didn't put the ball in play......

Yeah, on a bunt attempt. He wasn't swinging. Had he been swinging and missed, we at least would still have runners on the corners.

He also struck out with a runner on second after he failed on the suicide.

And, like I said, had he been swinging away at the outset and struck out, we would at least still have runners on the corners.

Maybe I should be after-the-fact critical of Hurdle for not trying a suicide with McGehee in the ninth. He didn't get the run in by swinging away .... hate it when that happens.

Huge win in light of Verlander taking the bump tomorrow.

That game involves a huge pitching advantage ...

I am just wondering if Verlander can stand up to the challenge, knowing that he is the 2nd best SP'er in the game. :D

P.S. 10-7 in interleague this season.
