Listening to the game now on MLB Audio. Duke gave up 1 earned run. Pirates tied game 1-1. Dan McCutchen came in to pitch in the 3rd inning and gave up a solo HR. Orioles 2-1. Game is in the 4th inning now. Doumit is on base and Pearce makes a long out to LF. Moss is up.

Moss strikes out. Cedeno makes an out. Doumit left on 1B. Tim Neverett and John Wehner are the game announcers.

bases loaded......G Jones 1st pitch swinging hits a hard ground ball out and 1 run scores..... score tied 2-2 with Doumit up. Doumit strikes out leaving two runners on...inning over.

Tim Neverett just mentioned that Andrew McCuthen's mom will sing the Star Spangled Banner for tomorrow's game.

2 errors by the Pirates by Cedeno (bad footwork...ball goes through his legs and an error by Iwamura). Runner on 3B scores on Cedeno's error. 3-2 Orioles. Miguel Tejada hits a ground ball to Neil Walker at 3B. Walker throws a bad ball in the dirt. Pearce can't hold on to the throw. Orioles then make the 3rd out. Inning 6 coming up with the Orioles leading 3-2.

Three errors in inning 5 for the Bucs: Cedeno, Iwamura, and Walker.

Pearce walks to lead off the 6th with Moss up. Moss grounds out to 1B while Pearce was running. Pearce on 2B with 1 out. Cedeno up. Cedeno hits a fly ball to RF. A very good play makes the out and Pearce is doubled off at 2B. Inning over............sigh.........I have to say even though it's early, some of these guys (Pirates) should not be wearing MLB uniforms. :?

Tony Sanchez bombs one over the CF wall going yard! He ties the game up 3-3 in the 8th. Way to go Tony! :D Moss weakly grounds a ball to the right side to end the inning.

I think I'm going to start a new list: PISEO (Players I've Seen Enough Of) :)

Thanks for the PBP, BD.

A shame to see the errors, especially when defense had been one of the lone bright spots of spring training so far (although to be fair, I'm kind of hoping Crosby wins the starting job over Cedeno, so ...)

Hopefully the HR by Sanchez is one to be remembered.
