We have the advantage in starting pitcher, but Duke has been known to give up the long ball sometimes. Should be a good start to this series against the much hated Brewers (cry babies).
Let's Go Bucs!!!

Wow! The risky strategy by Macha paid off for them after it looked like it was almost sure we were going to score a run. Let's hope we get some more chances. Milledge has a good history against Parra.

Donuts Doumit strikes again...........kills another rally. :x The guy is an automatic out. Sorry, but give me JJ back as catcher.

Automatic out is a strong word for someone with an OBP of .450 over the past week to go along with 2 homers.

It's amazing how often we have men at third with no outs and don't score. No geed excuse for that. Bad start.

BBF,

Doumit is hitting .223 in his last 10 games and five of them he did not have one hit. He is also batting around .186 with runners in scoring position.

The home/road differential for this team is mind blowing. 6 games over .500 at home; 25 games over .500 on the road.

Going according to Hoyle so far.

Help me understand. Duke had 40+ pitches in the first, faced 10 batters and got one out given to him with a questioable move to first. AND no one throwing until 3-2 count on the 10th guy?

Why do we wait so long? Wasn't apparent that Duke was not there tonight after say 7 or 8 hitters?

Quite frankly, with Karstens on the DL, I'd just as soon let Duke take one for the team tonight. Bautista threw 2 last night, so he isn't coming in. Is Bootcheck still here? Jackson? No good options.

That's 2 innings in a row for Jones to bat with men on second and third and nothing. WTF

Guess you're right but this is going tobe no fun.

Nope, especially since the 2nd inning doesn't look better than the 1st.
