Damn you Gorzo! Why did you decide to get a hit?

Potential Silver Lining: If Gorzo shuts us out today, the yinzers will be going completely nuts. Always good for a laugh.

Nice catch by Pearce! Duke is looking like his usual solid self. This could be a real game with a close score and everything (doesn't happen too often anymore).

Another awesome performance. I'm sure the Nuttings are very happy.

Way to go Moss. You are terrible. Way to take the two best pitches you will see and K miserably. All in all, not a terrible game, but we need to stop swinging wildly at garbage. You would think we would have a pretty good scouting report on Gorzo, but we ignored it for much of the first half of this one. It's time to blame the coaches (or advance scouts) and hopefully FC and NH are noticing this as well. Too many times this season it seems our hitters have ignored the obvious and took a bad approach at the plate without thinking.

Once again you blame Moss for another loss. He only batted once and others made 26 out, but it's his fault?

Wish you would get a woody over someone else- more deserving.

Let's see-- Gorzo isn't good enough to make the team in the spring, then comes up as a reliefer, then back down. Not good enough for us but good enough to beat us like the ugly step-child caught eating dad's snacks. Food for thought.

With all due respect, sub, even a slightly-below-average offensive team would have sent Gorzo to the showers in the 2nd or 3rd inning today. He didn't impress me in the slightest. Keep in mind that this is the same team who made Mike Hampton look spectacular on multiple occasions this year.
