ROYALS
1. David DeJesus, LF
2. Willie Bloomquist, CF
3. Billy Butler, 1B
4. Jose Guillen, RF
5. Miguel Olivo, C
6. Alberto Callaspo, 2B
7. Mark Teahen, 3B
8. Luis Hernandez, SS
9. Bruce Chen (0-0, 0.00): hasn't started since Aug. 4, 2006, but he did go 4-2 with a 3.40 ERA and three shutouts in 14 games for Triple-A Omaha. Chen is 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA in 13 games -- four starts -- against the Pirates. Utility infielder Ramon Vazquez is 4 for 4 versus Chen.

PIRATES
1. Andrew McCutchen, CF
2. Nyjer Morgan, LF
3. Freddy Sanchez, 2B
4. Adam LaRoche, 1B
5. Delwyn Young, RF
6. Andy LaRoche, 3B
7. Robinzon Diaz, C
8. Jack Wilson, SS
9. Paul Maholm (4-4, 4.48): will get the ball for the Pirates, and he'll be looking to bounce back from consecutive rough outings. Maholm gave up 8 runs and a career-high 14 hits over 5 innings on June 16 at Minnesota, then yielded 5 runs and 8 hits over 5 innings in a 5-4 loss at Colorado on Sunday. Six of Maholm's last 7 starts have come on the road, where he's 2-3 with a 6.05 ERA. At PNC Park, however, he's 2-1 with a 1.83 ERA and hasn't allowed a home run in 34 1/3 innings.

Maholm's lone start against the Royals didn't go well, however. He gave up seven runs and walked five over 4 1/3 innings in a 15-7 loss at PNC on June 22, 2006. Mark Teahen is the only Kansas City starter from that day that's currently a regular.

Watch what you say about him. He could easily be the next member of the STBHOF!

Who, Hung? Not unless he starts a landscaping business.

He has been having a real bad go lately. I thought he might step it up though tonight because we are at home and he has an ERA of 1.82 at home.

So will Chen become one of the greatest STBHOF inductees ever? Along side the likes of Randy Keisler?

Survey says.....................

Our Buccos aren't exactly knocking Chen all over the park. Need more runs Pirates.......more runs.

PS: It doesn't help when Morgan gets thrown out trying to steal 2B two times!

Very clutch BB. Big hit by Jack.....big, big, BIG! :)

Bucs lead 4-2.....bottom of the 7th.

Jack has been playing very good baseball.

I am proud to say that I have never watched American Idol. When Jordan Sparks was doing it all and Phoenix was all ah gah gah. I cut out pictures of her from the paper and drew mustaches and the like and posted them around the teachers lounge at school. Fans were aghast. It was great. That one guy is a real tool.

BB, I'm just seeing an empty white box where I guess the picture is and in the upper left hand corner a small square with a smaller solid red square, a solid green circle and a solid blue triangle inside it.
