Great to see him come through like that after Young and Hinske let us down.

Where did this team power come from? I guess this is what the domes do for you.

I for one will be glad when this thing is gone next year.

Yeah me to. The thing i don't understand is why is Torii Hunter hitting more homeruns now that he is with the Angels then when he played for the Twins.

Another full count. I think he has about 8 in 3 2/3 innings and about 90 pitches. Yikes but we got through 4.

I have no idea. It does seem strange.

So when did the umpires quit giving ties to the runners, because last time i checked the rule book a tie goes to the runner.

Nyjer Morgan had never grounded into a DP in his career until that game several weeks ago where he was safe and he got ejected. He has now grounded into four more including tonights.

That's as a many as Adam "Lightning" LaRoche. Go figure!

It started out being I break more news than MLB players break rules for my NFL news thing, then during the CIA board invasion somebody said i should change it to I break more news than CIA posters break wind. I also have an account over on the CIA board which i don't use often and my name is The Wind Breaker.

Yes. Snell is an enigma. I don't get how he can look so bad and so (almost) good in one game. I wish he could be consistent because really don't have any other options.

Oh. What is CIA?

It is another Pirate message board. It has some good posters but it also has some that are just plain assholes. They invaded our board back in February with the Huntington Must Go, Day #1 topic. It was led by Alex P. Keaton. You had been around here for about a month then Puggy.

Yes, that's the word I was thinking about to describe him a couple minutes ago. He's pitching a decent game tonight, but he's one strike away from 6 shutout innings. He's also one hit away from a very mediocre start if he gives up a hit to Gomez there in the 6th. How is this possible? Is the line between good and not so good that fine with every pitcher? 2 pitches?
