I actually really like the lineup with Walker low in the order. Much more stability.

I like Mercer at short when we have high K-rate guys on the mound.

It shows you how far the team has come in recent years when Walker was your cleanup guy...

Really like the line up. Only change for me would be a healthy Tabita batting 2nd.

I'll be heading to GABP here shortly. Mid-June is way too long to be seeing my first live game of the year.

Pravda.

The spot is his lose earn and/or lose.

Until such time, it's nice to see Presley fill in adequately.

If you searched back through the posts a year or two, you will find the one in which I said that you'll know that the Pirates have a decent lineup when you see Walker batting sixth or seventh where he belongs. The problem is, nobody seems to be able to fill that number 5 spot.

I don't mind seeing Walker in the number two spot with a righty on the mound, either.

Now that's why we signed Martin.

Marte should be a gold glove candidate. He is a better fielder than Cutch.

I have such a love-hate relationship with Dusty Baker.

His incessant beanballs are infuriating. But, the Reds would be absolutely terrifying with a competent manager.
