By the way, that's Pedro Alvarez' wife behind me. Very cool lady.

Sunglasses or looking off in the distance?

Looking off in the distance. I had to bite my tongue a few times when he was hitting.

:D

Awesome.

If you sit near her again try convincing her to have Pedro get a vision test. ;)

True story: Sitting behind homeplate in 96 with Paul from Atlanta and his "barely interested in baseball at all" spouse. Paul and I had both been outspoken critics of Jeff "Underachiever" King over the years. Paul's wife asked, "Hey guys isn't Jeff King the guy you always call Jeff "Loser" King" and a total waste of a first round pick. Paul and I were not cruel or vulgar in our responses, we just talked about how he never seemed to develop like we thought he would, that he was a solid player, but nothing great, etc. This conversation would be picked up every time Jeff came to bat. Finally a pretty blonde sitting two seats over just got up and stomped for the exit. An usher came over to us and told us that was King's wife. My response was, Hey she should be glad he doesn't play in New York, people would probably spit in her face and say "Your Husband fucking sucks Lady!"

Maybe his vision is suffering because she isn't taking care of him in the sack? Just sayin.......

I was going to make a comment about her being a Jessica Alba look-a-like. Didn't realize that was Pedro's wife. Guess Pedro's eyes didn't fail him on that one.....

The old adage in wrestling and boxing is women weaken legs...Maybe the same holds true in baseball. Mickey doesn't lie!
