Hurdle spoke last homestand about Bucco batters "swinging too hard." He even said that about Jones's river shot. Actually, I agree 100%. As immensely strong as most big league ball players are, just a normal swing with the right contact will send the ball out of the park. You get these guys who are 6'2", over 200 pounds swinging from the heels, and it just doesn't make sense.

Top of 6 and Teheran has a career high in number of strike outs. 18 batters; 9 Ks; 2 walks. 16 outs; 9 Ks; 7 balls put in play. Horrific.

Another stellar effort in the top half of an inning. K; HBP; Pop-Up and pick-off. Sleep walking . . .

Me too, I usually change the channel when they do that. I barely watched last night's game.

Our luck has turned. Our winning percentage and run differential were out of whack, and an adjustment was in order.

Good thing Neil acquired some pitching depth.

With a no-no on the line they probably will leave the our current nemesis, the starting pitcher.

We could put the 1993 Braves rotation out there and it wouldnt matter with this 10 plus K a game lineup. As was said earlier, the balls in play percentage has to be atrocious.

I work from home, don't have the MLB package on TV or internet, so I only see the Bucs play against the Cubs, Reds or Braves usually.

Today, I have a nice quiet work day, all caught up. Cooked a Chicken Fried Steak with potatoes and sat down to watch the game all by myself in the peace and quiet.

And we're getting no hit.

Figures.

Where do you live that you would get all three of those? I'm in a similar boat and only get Cubs (WGN) and Reds because I live here in Cincinnati. Was wondering where you were geographically that you'd be getting Atlanta games as well.
