With an off day on Thursday . . . surprised that McCutchen is gettting the day off. Oh well . . . Leyland always said that one of the biggest challenges for a manager was trying to keep everyone fresh.

Hasn't Chris Johnson been a Pirate-killer of late?

Maybe pitch around him.

Strike 3 for AJ. Another incompetent ump. But it is the human element.

Not that a one would recall but we had Dan isiana in the Philly series and he was really bad then. He has already messed up four pitches tonight two of which should of been strike 3. I can't stand him...

Burnett is at almost 50 pitches after 3. Not good

Justin Upton's epic power surge sure came back to earth quickly. He's still on pace to hit a ton of HRs due to the unreal start, but didn't he have like 9 of them in April alone?

No doubt.

Braves 1, Pirates 1, Umpire 1

And this guy will have a job tomorrow. What a disgrace MLB umpiring is.

And Bud Selig sits back and counts his money.

Those are strikes. If you're gonna call the strikezone tight, call it tight. This umpire has had a wide strike zone since the beginning of the first. In the bottom of the 4th he starts calling the game tight than warns our starting pitcher and tosses our catcher and manager.

Than go back the mckenry so called phantom tag at the plate and Atlanta has been unkind.

Sid Bream.

Watching the game with lefty and earlier in the inning I told him Clint was gonna get run. However, I did not predict that Russell Martin would be run first....

Damn nazi umpire. Not sure what Martin did or said to get ejected.

Aj struggling again. I'm really starting to get concerned. I love his intensity and attitude, but now I'm seeing why the ny fans may have turned on him. No we haven't given him great run support, and yes the ump is a jag off. But he's really not pitching well at all.
