Porcello supposedly has the stuff to be a high-K guy, but hasn't actually done it in his career to this point. I'm hoping we don't get Scott's-ed or whatever you guys call that phenomenon.

Naw, Scott's Turf Builder HOF is for guys who really have no business in the big leagues, much less dominating the Buccos. It was more a comment on our Bucs than anything. Portcello is too good a pitcher for that.

Think more along the lines of Ron Villone throwing a 2 hitter at you.

Clint needs to sit Mercer long enough so his bat cools off. Can't have him showing up Barmes and Inge with McDonald near return.

If only there were some way to bet that Jeanmar won't pitch past the fifth inning.

I'd bet [at least] a month's pay on that lock.

Come on 'Five Inning' Gomez!

Radar shows last bit of rain is just finishing up. Not sure what's behind it at least there isn't anything forming. I'm sure something will. There are patches of rain to the west in south bend but looks to be going north. We'll see.

Gomez looking solid again. Gotta love his stuff. Continuously keeps hitters off balance.
