Would be nice to run a pinch hitter up for Barmes this inning. Snider have an AB in him?

Gosh, it's fun watching Martin behind the plate. Two runners caught stealing on a perfect throw and a perfect call for a pitchout.

Desperate signing made by desperate management desperate to save jobs.

Gee I hope I don't get ripped for pointing out that Alvarez is useless again when we really need him.

Popped up weakly to kill a big inning in the first, when they really needed it and then grounded into a double play in the 7th with two on and one out.

Yeah, but he drove in two runs in a blowout on Sunday and boy did he look good making those outs.

Anyone else going to ask the question why Mark Melancon is not in the game to face a series of right handers that will not be pinch hit for in a one run game in the eighth?

It's not technically over and it was a valiant comeback, but...

Ugh.

Brewers... :x

You beat me to it. Now . . . if Melancon hadn't been warming up and if a decision had been made that he just needs another day of rest because of overwork, then maybe . . just maybe . . . I get the decision. But . . . Melancon had been warming up and with Segura, Braun and Weeks up, it made me throw up a bit in my mouth when Watson was brought into the game.

Let's hope that we see an amazing finish to this freaking slow pitch softball game.

He's had three days rest. I would say that is plenty.

Clint Hurdle is a moron when he makes moves like this which is too often. Hopefully, one of the beat writers will ask the question.

The bucs fought hard to get back in this one. I actually believe we're better than this team. Yet for some reason...... The pitching has to hold up. Unexplainable. 22 runs in two games and counting.

Night all. Not trying to offend anyone here. Frustrated as a fan can get.

Oh . . . he'll get the question. It will likely be one of the first questions asked.

Wasn't really asked, but did say he did not want to use Watson, Melancon or Grilli unless they had the lead which is exactly the problem with Clint Hurdle. Why does it matter if we have the lead? And if you didn't want to use any of the three, you did anyway so use the one who has the best matchups. (Melancon)

The whole thing is a crock anyway. He had three days rest. You are off Thursday. So, when you are down 10-0 tomorrow, are you going to use him to get some work so he is not off five straight days? Stupidity.

Liriano is almost ready. How far off are Morton and Karstens? Whatever jmac had the first half of last year is gone, at least consistently. You can't survive in the majors without confidence. All the talent in the world shit right down the toilet where shit goes.

Morton is only 3 or 4 days behind Liriano in his rehab and has been just as dominant. Karstens is about to start his rehab so probably 25-30 days away.

The best thing about this game is that Cutch found his swing again. I think he was just overswinging - getting out in front sometimes and kind of chili-dipping a little and getting under it other times.

I think he'll be fine now. Sometimes you hit it hardest when you're not trying to.

As frustrating as this Milwaukee thing is, I'm not too worried long term. With the pitching we have on the way, plus getting Walker and Snider back soon I hope, we should be fine.
