You win some. You lose some. Nice to see us get a little power from Pedro and Russell.

LOSS: Hughes drops to 1-1, giving up 2 hits, 2 walks, and 2 runs in a tie game.

START: Calling this one a BAD START.. Locke was OK at times...the long ball did him in....plus you cannot give up 6 hits and 4 walks in less than 5 innings. All in all, bad start.

GOAT: Went back and forth between Hughes and Marte. Hughes walk and HR lost us the game in the end, but you have to call a guy a goat if he strikes out 5 times. Is that a record? I think it would be a good time tomorrow to give Marte a day off. Gonna give DUAL HORNS tonight, Hughes and Marte both!

Honorable Mention: Justin Wilson came in and put out a fire, then went 1.1 innings. Did walk two guys but kept Braves off the scoreboard, Giving Pedro an HM for hitting a towering HR and going 1-3.

STAR #3: Garrett Jones goes 1-2, with a double and 2 RBI. Don't look now, but GJ is tied with Marte as the team's leading hitter at .333.

STAR #2: Russell Martin got 2 hits, including his first Pirate HR.

STAR #1: Travis Snider goes 2-4, plus a walk, with 2 doubles and 2 runs. He is now at .314.

Maybe not deserved of horns, but Walker's AB in the fifth was choke worthy (he also had a GDP in the third).

First and Second with only one out, with Pedro and Martin (who had both homered at that point) on the slate and with Teheran on the ropes could have changed the entire game.

That's an excellent point. At the time, I made a note that he was a possibility there, but with Hughes choking (the leadoff walk pisses me off the most), and Marte's 0-5, I thought they deserved it more!
