Great to be back at .500. The guys have gained some confidence.

Tough assignment with Atlanta coming in, but I think they'll do ok.

Watching the Pens smack around the Habs.

The Bucs just don't draw in April, last night was a nice warm evening, but the Pens have the city's focus at the moment. At least this year MLB network is showing the Root baseball telecast opposite the Pens on Root itself. Last year we couldn't watch these games when the Pens had a conflict.

Does anyone know why Grilli was pulled in to record the final out? Seemed like an odd decision to me.

Yeah a big head scratcher that even the telecast couldn't figure out. Seemed very pointless with 2 outs in the 9th and a 5 run lead. Lets hope its doesn't bit CH in the arse if he needs Grilli Thur-Sat.

I am loving this. So nice to be able to watch the game while the Pens are on. I sure hope it continues

The subject of attendance came up on the radio this morning. I came up with these factors:

20 years of losing
Last year's collapse broke the hearts of the bandwagon jumpers.
1-5 start really hurt, bats were silent early
Bad weather early
Pens are especially good and especially entertaining, and play more often than usual this year

If we are in the race this summer, the bandwagon jumpers will be back. If we are not, we will be getting a new GM.

The Pirates have said that off-season ticket sales jumped about 20%. They'll draw this year, especially if the team is hovering at .500 or above in June-July-August.

After the seventh inning KMOX St. Louis came in clearly on my car radio. I can listen to night games when we play the Cardinals, Cubs (WGN) Reds (WLW)
and Mets (WFAN.)

Watched the Pens-Canadiens game on Root Sports via ATDee.Net. Boy, my Habs are a tired team right now. If we can't get past Toronto in the first round
I'll root for a Pens-Ducks final (would love to see Saku Koivu hoist the Cup.) Pens-Black Hawks would be the best series though.
