Too late.

But three singles in the ninth and Walker up with only 1 out seems pretty positive.

No outs, 2 men on and down by a run.

You're the power hitter and the pitcher is struggling.

JUMP ON THE FIRST PITCH!!!!

Man, that pisses me off.

Well, 1st excruciatingly painful loss in the books

At least I won't see the end of tomorrow's game.

I'm just getting really fed up with the losing. I promised myself last year to never get emotionally involved with this team again. We should have taken 2 out 3 from the lowly cubbies at home. But leave it to the bucs. I'm just so sick of this!

Well at least there are 159 other chances to raise it.

lol, Marmol gets credit for a 'save'.

Tough series to lose, especially like THAT. Go get em in L.A.

It's games like these that make me wonder why I waste so much time, money, and sanity rooting for the Pirates. I know its early, but loses like this start to pile up and make a difference. This could be a tough road trip ahead of us which is included in a very difficult April. We have to survive this month and then im confident that we'll get rollin a little bit. Go Bucs.

I am not excited at the prospect of this line-up facing Greinke, Kershaw and Ryu.

Why is it we have to be down 3 runs before we get our bats going?

Did I mention that I think Hughes sucks.

Alvarez!

I was really hoping for that win, because every year I count that early west coast road trip as "Gee I hope we can be _____ games under 500 when we come back."

Thanks to K-Dro, we're probably looking five games under rather than three.

Thanks Dude

The good news is Doyers are banged up so the Bucs can at least make the games appear competitive.

The 2 strike efforts by Alvarez and Sanchez in the 9th could not be more striking in contrast with one another.

What about our big signing Martin? Does he even have a hit yet? Reminding me of Barajas.

This sucks especially because JMac had a great game. Looks like another slow start this year for the bats. Bad day on the farm as well as the Indians lost the opener here 4-0.

It's the 3rd game of the season. Sheesh.

Lets talk when it's the 30th game.
