I can tell you that the fans out here in Dodger land are very happy with the moves.

Also, for a matter of perspective, seats that go for $35 back at PNC Park (or did a few years ago) fetch $300+ at Dodger Stadium. A good team that puts butts in the seats (for innings 3 through 7) can afford some massive contracts.

A batting order with Kemp, Hanley, and AGonz is going to be fun to watch. Almost as fun as Gaby Sanchez, Barmes, and Barajas.

Too bad Dodger fans will only be able to watch it for 36 more games. For a team that wouldn't make the playoffs if the season ended today, the Dodgers are taking an awfully expensive gamble.

Huh??? I assume you are joking there. Last time I checked Texas was running a budget surplus while California was teetering on Bankruptcy with no plans on reigning in entitlement spending.

I was actually referring to the Texas judge (his name is Tom Head) who wants to raise property taxes to help pay for training a militia for when Obama wins re-election and secretly facilitates U.N. troops invading the country from Mexico.

EDIT: Previously, I had misstated Tom Head's position in government as "sheriff". I have corrected the error.

Dude, calm down. I've had entirely enough people on this board jump down my throat because of innocuous comments today. California has its brand of wacky. Texas has its brand of wacky. Let's just agree to disagree over which wacky is wackier, OK?

California may be wackier than Texas, but I'd still move/vacation there over Texas.

Unless you want government handouts and want 60% of your paycheck to go to taxes, Texas is the better bet.

Your use of three question marks in a row ("???") is where you crossed the line.

I myself will stick with WV, where it is written in our Constitution that it is ILLEGAL to deficit spend. Don't spend more than you can afford? What a strange concept?!? :D

Also, citing phony statistics (60%??? Really???) is not particularly civil, either.

Texas has better taxes and land laws/prices, for sure, but, aside from rampant non-use of contraception(s) and illegal immigration, there is a reason why Cali if so densely populated.

It's bea-u-ti-ful.

Both states have douchebag locals, Texas has some killer BBQ, but Cali has all a smorgasbord of food, too.

So I still give a slight edge to Cali.

I generally determine how wacky or crazy a state is by its budget surplus.

Hey, we have big buisness, mostly in agriculture. A lot of it allows you to feed your piehole.
As for the original topic. Answer, not long
