Knocked one off of the bucket list last night by seeing Joe Walsh at Stage AE. Excellent show, one of the best I've seen. The man can still play the heck out of his guitar, and I was surprised by his vocals. He sounds pretty much the same as he did in 1972 (for better or worse, I know that Joe's singing is something of an acquired taste). Here's a link to his new single. Can anybody tell me what kind of guitar that is?

By the way, watch the video. I think that one of the backup singers in Andrew McCutchen.

Its a Duesenberg double cat 6 semihollow body...The guy to the right of Joe is ELO frontman and Traveling Wilbury, Jeff Lynne (or Otis Wilbury).

If you enjoy solo Eagles, Timothy B Schmit is playing the Three Rivers Art Festival Wednesday.

Thanks, I had no clue what sort of guitar that was.

I'll be missing that one, unfortunately.

I've never thought of Walsh as a solo Eagle, since I'd been a fan of his since about 1972. I think that the Eagles were lucky to get him.
