He killed three Pittsburgh policemen a couple years ago.

There was a brief blurb in this morning's sunday paper about him. Sounds like he is out of the same egg as the guy who shot Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson. :x :x :x :x :x

I did not know Pa. had the death penalty. When is the last time that there was an execution in Pa.?

They have it.

There are 100s of people on death row.... but they will not execute anyone that is trying for any kind of appeals. Back in the 1990's, Governor Ridge allowed for the execution of 3 people who waived all appeals and ASKED to be executed. They were killed by lethal injection. The last one was in July of 1999. The other two were in 1995. Prior to that, nobody was executed since 1976.

I had several friends there that day, although I did not know any of the three slain officers. I want to see Poplawski fried.
