Hey AZ.. how was Sugar?

Thursday I won a ticket (only one lol) to see veteran crooner
Sanchez in concert (at a place called Caribbean Flavor.)

I was listening to WCSB's (Cleveland State University radio) afternoon reggae show
and the host asked for caller # 10. I won! (I win quite often, though usually tickets
for low budget arty films.)

Are you familiar with his work? Sanchez has been around for a while. I bought his first few
albums in the late eighties. He mostly sings covers. Check out his version of the
Skeeter Davis classic "End of the World."

AZ, I forgot to ask you about Sugar Minott. He passed away only a few weeks after you saw him. He had a history of
heart problems I guess. He was one of a kind.. certainly prolific. Did he sing "Herbman Hustling?" So many great songs..
"Vanity," etc..

I wish I had been in Pittsburgh this past Thursday. The Marley's performed thirty years to the day of Bob Marley's
last concert at the Stanley Theatre. I heard they sang the same set list. Ziggy wasn't there but his other boys
were there, daughters, Rita Marley, and one of the I-Threes.. wow!!

He cancelled. Must have been due to the health problems.

Below.. Outlaws I & I performing earlier this year.

Meanwhile Team U.S.A. took a 1-0 lead over Jamaica in the first minute of their World Cup qualifier. Teams meet again Tuesday in Columbus!!!
