This is really for AZ, but I am putting out there in case anyone else cares, the college I work out just qualified for their first-ever World Series berth. Lackawanna College will be playing in Enid, OK next week and represent the Northeast District. GO FALCONS!

Thats awesome! It will be an experience they will never forget. A nice ballpark and the town of Enid really is a good host. Best of luck to the team and I hope they have plenty of pitching. Keep us posted... 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

.

Actually, pitching depth is their strength. They have a 6-4 left that throw 92 MPH fast ball and a plus curve. He is there ace and surrounded by good support. He signed with VCU for the fall, but should get drafted.

AZ, Never posted the results. They lost their opener in 10 innings 5-4. Won their next game 8-1, but then fell in the next one 11-1. The first game was key as they made unusual boneheaded plays. The last game was close until the 8th, but they didn't hit and didn't take advantage of the other pitcher's wildness.

Great experience though. First World Series in school history and they won a game.
