Here are a couple of predictions:

49ers beat Giants by 10

And, much as I hate to say it, Patriots beat the Ravens by 3. They are the two NFL teams I most despise and, ideally, they'd maim each other. Such that Brady, Welker, Gronkowski, Wilfork, Ray Lewis, Suggs, Ed Reed, Ray Rice, and Haloti Ngata would all finish the game on IR because they couldn't walk. But even though the Patriots don't have a W against a plus-.500 team this season, I don't see them losing tomorrow.

If the weather is bad in Boston Sunday that favors Baltimore, right? Then again I have seen Brady rack up the yards even in bad weather. Of course you have to favor the home team in both games.

I really don't know who to root for but I look forward to watching the games.

I thought Green Bay and New Orleans were the two best teams in the NFC and they both lost so you never know.

I'm still licking my wounds and might be too depressed to watch the games this weekend. My Packers laid an egg last week. Ugh.

My weekend scoreboard...

Giants 20
49ers 24

Ravens 34
Patriots 24

I'll go Pats/Niners

Still trying to figure out how to watch the NE/BAL game with so much disgust for both teams.

It just feels like a Pats-Giants rematch, only this time the Pats smoking the Giants.

Of couse, I predicted Falcons/Jets to start the season, so what do I know?

Ding ding! NS Masters it.

I really enjoyed the first game even though I didn't really care who won. Flacco is good but is he quite good enough?

I have a hard time getting interested in the NFC but did end up rooting for New York in the end.

My money is on Brady in the Super Bowl.

Well, I had a 50/50 chance... and I did bet on the Niners and Ravens (watched $470 go up in smoke in the last 30 seconds of each game)... *sigh*. And I will say that, again, I predicted Falcons-Jets before a game was played...

But thanks for the Kudos anyways. :D

No.

For many reasons, but certainly not dismissing Flacco's terrible playoff stache/beard.

Flacco is like Neil O'Donnell, even down to the terrible facial hair.

And as Steelers fans know, you don't win a title with Neil O'Donnell (and his terrible facial hair) at QB.

So you put your money on the losing teams, but then hedged your bet by guessing the other way on here.

Bet you wish you had done it the other way around.

You would think so, but no.

I bet on who I thought should win. The breaks of the game killed my bets, but I regret nothing. I still think I made the 'right' picks even though I 'felt' the games would go the other way and I certainly believe that the 'better' teams lost Sunday.

All in all, it didn't hurt nearly as bad as when the Steelers blew my 3-team parlay. 7 straight weeks of Unders, playing Tebows Broncos and they decide to give up 27 points... ugh.

That one hurt.
