The Stillers took a DE from THE Ohio State.

I'm hoping OL comes sooner rather than later.

Is anyone else waiting for Cam Newton to become JaMarcus Russell 2.0?

And how about the Falcons-Browns trade?! The Browns traded #6 overall (Julio Jones) for two firsts (2011 and 12), a second, and two fourths (2011 and 12). What a friggin' steal! Either Holmgren is a genius or Arthur Blank is a moron... probably both. Or maybe DL got a job as GM of the Falcons?

Thoughts?

Gotta trust the Steelers judgement on draft day. Their track record is too good.

Newton won't bomb like Russell, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he doesn't hit big.

Sounds like a great trade for Cleveland. They need to think longer term, because they have a ways to go to get up to Pittsburgh and Baltimore's level.

Marcus Gilbert, OT, FL

Now I'm feeling better.

Steelers top 3 needs were DL, OL, CB....

Steelers top 3 picks were DL, OL, CB...

Steelers, Packers and Patriots draft better than any other team. Any wonder why they are consistently good?

Yeah, I'm liking this, too.

Now only if this 'lockout' could end so FA's (Ike... Casey?) can be sorted out...

Casey? Hampton isn't a FA, is he?

No, Hampton is in the second year of a three-year deal.

Ike Taylor and Willie Colon are the major free agents.

If Colon is healthy, I wouldn't mind seeing him back for the right price. Gilbert could play RG.

Re-signing Ike Taylor is a must. If it weren't for his hands of stone, he would be mentioned with Nnamdi, Revis and Champ Bailey as the league's elite corners.
