If I see another 5-36 hitting day, to go along with the usual 12 1/3 IP, 6.35 ERA, 1.76 WHIP, 0 W's, 1 save day, I am going to have to be persuaded not to cut my entire team and build a new roster from the garbage floating around the FA wire.

Why not? Should I be concerned about a 3-37, 2 R's, 0 HR, 1 RBI day? Hey, these guys threw out one of those just a few weeks ago. Or 0 W's, 7.71 ERA? And a 1.86 WHIP? Oh, you mean like yesterday?

Vin Mazzarro might make this team better.

Hey, the Underachievers put up a .188 OBP day today with no homers, no RBIs, and no steals.

And CarGo left the game with an injury. Apparently David Wright needs company on the DL.

I gave you a run, with a monumental .220 OBP, 0 HR's (for the 3rd day out of the last 4), 0 SB's, 3 R's, 2 RBI's.

We in Marauderland call that a "regular."

But at least the pitching staff kept up its end of the bargain with 0 wins for the fourth straight day.

Hey-O, another great day by the Marauders bats. 6-40, 0 HR's.

But hey, the pitching kept pace with a 1.95 ... well, WHIP, not ERA. The 5th straight day that the team's WHIP exceeded 1.70. Proud of their effort. *sob* Not to mention the sterling 8.10 ERA.

The 6th straight day of absolutely dog poop performance. 6 in a row of an OBP below .300, 0 or 1 HR, WHIP above 1.70, ERA above 6.50.

Just freaking great.

James McDonald is on the trade block if you're interested
