They need to toughen up like the Wings' Jonathan Ericsson who played in the Cup Finals 3 days after surgery. :D

And Holliday will be back this weekend. Dunn will probably miss about 10 games.

Meanwhile, somebody farted in the dugout and Evan "Ironman" Longoria is out for a month.

At least you don't have Utley and Longoria. In my money auction league we did the auction in late February. You only have money for two star hitters, I bought Chase (before any info came out on his knee) and Evan, ugh.

That is brutal. I am wondering if Utley plays before the All-Star game.

Longoria ... well, as long as he does not have to bend over or swing a bat, he'll be fine.

Maybe he can spend time "rubbing ribs" with Greinke.

Had that deal myself some 40 years ago. It shocks me that the recovery time is so short. Of course they probably don't bleed people first these days or do they?

I read somewhere that Dunn was trying to get back in the lineup one day after the surgery...

Upon reading that news, Evan "Soft Margarine" Longoria flinched, aggravating his rib boo-boo. He will be out "at least" two additional weeks.
