Pirates up 8-7 in the bottom of the 6th, Doug Meint triples in LaRoche and Doumit, then intentionally walks Freddy to get to Jack with one out

In this game, at least the Bucs are still fighting, now laying down like a whipped dog! Go Bucs!

I'm sure glad that we now have two LaRoches to strike out in run scoring opportunities.

You know, I'm all for letting the young guys take their lumps and all that, but leaving Hansen in for three straight walks in the 8th, the third being the go ahead, pisses me off. Then the dolt goes into the dugout and punches the Gatorade jug with his pitching hand. At least follow Zambrano's example and only throw the jug.

And Burnett comes in to relieve Hansen and ends up getting clubbed like a baby seal. In case anyone cares, that's nine walks total. Maybe we can go for double digits in the 9th?

Why dont we just lose the rest of the games, thus "earning" the #1 draft pick next year. Gosh, I don't think I've felt worse about this team in a very, very long time, if ever. I just hope "Ronny Howard" knows what he's doing.

Yeah, what's up with leaving Hansen in after walking in the tying run? I'm really not crazy about Russell although I'm sure he'd never have left him in if this game meant something.

Dan, part of Ollie's frustration was just being part of a lousy organization. Going to the Mets was the best thing that could've happened to him. He's been pitching well lately (ERA around 4.00 now) and will be in the post season yet again.
