Anyone else in the area attending the game? I am sure the ignorant Ravens fans will be ever present to offer some kind words of encouragement to me this Saturday night. I will just have to politely remind them of the 2 times the Pirates beat them during the WS.

I am bringing my son and a few of his friends down for tomorrow's game. I'll get them to .500....you put them over the top. Friday is a celebration of the '79 team. I hope to remind a few Balti-morons how that year finished up. Have an Old German for me...I don't think they will have any Arn City.

A foreshadowing of things to come?

The Pirates beat the Ravens? In which parallel universe? ;)

I think you'll find Orioles fans to be both friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the game.

If it wasn't for ridiculous gas prices, I was considering a road trip to see them this weekend. And an opportunity to watch a game with brad...very tempting. The two most painful things in the world- Pirates baseball and brad's humor- all rolled up into a 3 hour evening...what's not to like??

I can think of one area the Pirates clobber the Ravens in....fewest convictions per off-season. I will give O's fans credit for putting on a better demonstration against ownership than the Pirates fans when they walked out last year.

BBF...the only real differences between my humor and Pirate baseball is: 1) The Pirates don't get rim-shots and 2) they aren't TRYING to get laughs.
