I watched a replay of the 2008 all star game last night, and during the telecast , Yogi made an appearance in the announcers booth.

Besides calling Joe Buck, Jack, 2 x, he couldn't remember the relief pitcher on the yankees name(Rivera), and said wanted to play with his hometown cardinals , but they wouldn't pay him 200g's, so he signed with NY yankees for $500.00 , (something like that). Honestly, maybe i am off on the exact $$$ amount, but so was he.

Just seemed like Yogi wasn't all there, mentally, and was wondering if anyone knows anything about his current health status.
Always enjoyed listening to him, way back to when i was a kid, but his appearance and interview during this game was a little too much to handle.
Any northeasterners out there, that have seen or heard about him lately.? Whats his health status , physical appearance, and mobility like these days?.

Last i heard about Yogi was in an interview the New York Times did with him in April. He threw out the first pitch to open the new Yankee Stadium. He is currently trying to get them to give him one of the homeplates from the old Yankee Stadium to put in his museum. Here is the link to that article. About half way down it there is a funny part when he is talking about Joba Chamberlain when he was arrested for his DUI.
