Thoughts?

I doubt we see a show like Josh Hamilton put on last year, but I think this field has the potential to be pretty good.

I think Pujols or Pena will win.

Any truth to the rumor that Ryan Howard asked for Matt Capps to throw to him?

Anybody else besides me have no interest in it? I've never really cared about it. It's just some glorified batting practice. Personally I don't find it exciting at all.

I don't really care for it.

A couple years back when the AS game was in Pittsburgh, I went to the futures game and celebrity softball game. That was pretty fun.

Has little interest for me.

Great idea--I think Howard should get Capps to pitch to him. He could set a new record.

The problem is that to even out the contest, all participants would ask for Capps. That would lead to more home runs than the All-Star staff had anticipated. They would run out of baseballs. Mayhem would ensue.

When I heard Pujols asked for a Pirate to throw to him, I thought Snell might be making his 1st MLB All Star appearance tonight...I was sad to hear its was the bullpen coach he asked for instead...

I'm not going to lie after how bad Inge just did, but i had the finals being Pujols against Inge in the finals. Luckily i have Pujols winning it. Although i think right now Nelson Cruz might have the best chance.

Fielder has tied Cruz and he still has 6 outs.

It was interesting when they had Albert on with the broadcaasting crew, he was talking about I think it was Fielder still getting the power this year, but his average is up to .315. Albert said, "Well, obviously he has shortened his stroke up a little..."

Oh, what the Hell does he know about hitting...
