I calculated Jeff Locke's fielder independent pitching (FIP) from April 23 to present, a span of more than two months. That constitutes the lion's share of his season, and cuts out just the first 3 starts.

Since April 23, 2013, Locke has a FIP of 3.20. So in terms of regression - he is apparently set to "regress" into a very, very good SP'er, one with a ERA that would rank in the top-15 in the major leagues in 2012.

Uhhhh, okay.

It's scary to think how good the future rotation may be if Locke good enough to maintain a 2-3 ERA.

Cole's been showing more than mere flashes of brilliance and Taillon, well...

Seriously exciting stuff.

And Heredia, and Kingham, and Glasnow.

Three more power righties who deal in the mid to upper 90's, and are currently 18, 20 and 19 years old.
