I don't know where to look, but was wondering what % of our home runs are solo shots and where that compares to other teams. Not complaining about a home run, will take any time, but maybe because I only watch the pirates, it's seems we hit a lot of solo shots.

Id do this for you but I'm I'm Turkey right now and on mobile, so it would take hours. Here's a link that you can probably get an answer from pretty quickly with excel.

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/stats/bytea ... 3&sort=722

18 of the Bucs 82 homers have been solo shots

In a world where the sports media makes sure you don't miss a single Davis/Cabrera/Bautista/etc. HR I'm pretty sure fans of just about every team thinks this regarding their own team and solo HRs.

Funny how your perception can tell you one thing and the numbers something else.

I golfed with a friend on Sunday who is a casual fan. He thought the Pirates were hitting exceptionally well with men in scoring position.

It would suck to be the Dodgers. They are near the bottom in homeruns and have the highest percentage of HRs that are solo.

Well at least you made it out of Turkey. I hear things are a little dicey in that country lately.
