C'mon Wandy. Rebound against these pansy hitters. Old school unis . . . good karma.

Harper's ejection likely helps the Bucs but, c'mon . . . that was an incredibly quick trigger. Harper's reputation precedes him and, as is the cliche, "you reap what you sow." But, IMO, there is no reason why he should've been ejected there.

More importantly, the pitch was a strike whether or not he swung at it!

Jump on these bastards. Hard. And don't let up. Harper's ejection may have them down a tad. Crooked number this inning. Can't let up.

Again, people mock my constant hammering of productive ABs . . . but the Bucs left a runner on 3rd and less than one out with the team's best hitter at the plate yesterday while the Nats plated three runs by simply putting the ball in play with runners on 3rd and less than 2 out. May not seem to be a big deal at the time but golden opportunities to score can't be wasted.

Today . . . can't help but think that this is going to come back and bite the Bucs in the butt. Gonzalez is a good pitcher and they had the chance to easily put up 2 or 3 runs.

Strike outs, strike outs, strike outs. Freaking unacceptable.

True on all accounts. Bad umpiring all the way around.

Hmmmm. Leave the bases juiced without plating another run while your opponent is down. They wiggle of the hook, are recharged and come out ready to do damage.

Wandy hands them a runner and LaRoche rocks one to the gap.

Not only wasted scoring opportunities but a huge swing in momentum.

And . . . that's what happens when you put the ball in play.

McDonald and mckenry have weak ass arms. Result. Runner at second. Just to add Wandy is getting squeezed big time.

I haven't seen this in my short time on the board. We all know were are remarkably profligate, and since we are a marginally talented team, we cannot afford to give away anything easily....

Gonazalez and Rodriguez are mirror images of one another.

Agreed. Leaving the bases loaded in the first didn't help. Seeing a trend, living by the long ball. Sometimes you just need to get guys on base, and get guys in.
