Jameson Taillon delivered his third consecutive great AA start tonight. Following his 10 K performance last time, he threw 7 scoreless innings while giving up just 2 hits and striking out 6 tonight. That gives him 20 Ks in 18IP so far.

I gotta make it out to an Altoona game before he gets promoted!

Send him up to AAA soon if he continues to be so dominate. I know it is unlikely, but Taillon and Cole in this rotation by the end of the season could mean big things!

Great to see. I'm sure they won't move him up quite yet, but if he keeps pitching like this it won't be long.

I was assuming next June would be his time to join the rotation, but if he keeps dominating...

It's looking more and more like a distinct possibility (ala David Price with the Rays in 08/09).

Besides, Taillon's clock won't start if the Bucs call him up when the rosters expand, right?

An exciting thought.

I read somewhere that Taillon's 2-seam fastball is ridiculously good and near-unhittable when he's keeping it down.

I'm on record predicting that Taillon will turn out to be better than Cole. I think his mental makeup is better.

I hope they're both dominant
