- Indianapolis managed to hold on and win 3-0 despite a pretty quiet offensive showing. Kris Johnson tossed five scoreless innings despite giving up 6 hits, only one of which was for extra bases. Brandon Inge homered in what was his first AAA hit (he was 0-9 with 4 Ks previously). Matt Hague went 2-3 with a double. Vic Black threw two scoreless innings to close it out. Matt Capps (who was recently released and was then resigned to play at AAA, not a rehab stint) pitched the 8th for Columbus and gave up a few hits.

- Altoona got an excellent start from Stolmy Pimental, who went 6 innings giving up just 2 hits and striking out 4. That kept Eerie off the board until the seventh when Jason Townsend came in to relieve Pimental and got hammered with singles that loaded the bases, and then Eerie executed a suicide squeeze by bunting back to the pitcher, and Townsend threw the ball away which allowed two runs to score. He then gave up a two-run double which made it 5-2 Eerie and that was the final. Alex Dickerson hit his first AA homer and Adalberto Santos continued his red hot start with a double.

- Bradenton rallied late but stayed winless despite another great offensive outburst, losing 9-8 in extra innings. They had 15 hits (unfortunately, their pitching staff also gave up 14 themselves). After getting two quick outs in the tenth, Zach Fuesser gave up the game-winning HR. Gregory Polanco hit an opposite field HR (off of Minnesota Twins pitcher Scott Diamond to boot). Jacob Stallings also homered and doubled going 3-4, and Alen Hanson went 2-6 with a double. The Marauders SP woes continued as starter Adrian Sampson was chased after just 2.2 IP after giving up 6 runs, and a combination of four relievers didn't do much better.
