Okay, at what point do we start to take this guy's exploits in winter ball seriously? The competition might roughly equate to AAA, but still, he's dominating! Maybe he's a late bloomer, or figured something out.

Well he had a 4.53 era in AAA this year, despite John Dreker's nonsense, winter ball isn't close to AAA level. He's a 28 year old lefty who doesn't throw hard.

Yeah if he was doing this in MLB, not the Dominican league. Come on, non-prospect organizational depth, we've moved beyond Brian Burres types.

Sure, there are exceptions, but the norm is there for a reason. If you want to be optimistic about Kris Johnson, be my guest. But you'll likely be disappointed.
